Locally Focused

Our mission at Tawas Presbyterian Church is to have a positive, local impact on everyone that we come into contact with.  We are invested in coming alongside many other local charities and missions.

Personally Connected

Our goal is to help people start and/or grow their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  God knows your name and we want to as well.

Pat McBride

Office Manager/ Financial Secretary

When you stop into the office,  it’s likely that you will find Pat hard at work on the many tasks it takes to keep a church running.   Office hours are Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Patty Chonich - Choir Director

Not many churches have a full choir these days but TAPC does.  It is led by Patty Chonich (when she’s not snowbirding in Florida) and meets for practice on Thursdays at 3 p.m.

Kristy Prentiss

Media Assistant

Each Sunday you’ll find Kristy faithfully leading our tech team and making everyone else in the service shine, both for those in attendance as well as those watching the service online on our YouTube Channel (Tawas Presbyterian).

Logan Gould

Grounds/Maintenance

Logan takes a lot of pride in the work he does for the church and it shows both on the inside and also on the outside.

At the core of Presbyterian identity is a secure hope in the grace of God in Jesus Christ, a hope that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, empowers us to live lives of gratitude: “In affirming with the earliest Christians that Jesus is Lord, the Church confesses that he is its hope, and that the Church, as Christ’s body, is bound to his authority and thus free to live in the lively, joyous reality of the grace of God.” (Book of Order F-1.0204)
