Picnic |
 The
annual Church Picnic on August 16th was celebrated for the first
time on our church new campus! Chefs John Jensen and Jim Minard
did a super job roasting the ‘tube steaks' and hamburgers,
and the terrific chefs at TAPC provided GREAT side dishes and
desserts. Thanks to Vida Minard for heading up the kitchen detail. |
 We
recognized many of the new members that have joined since the
last picnic and our own A.F.C. band provided us with a ‘foot-stompin'
sing-a-long . (They've been EVERYWHERE else this summer, even
down in Ohio, so it was good to have them at home, with us!)
It was a beautiful summer evening under the our new portico
and bell tower. (Once the new lawn matures, we will really have
a fun picnic space.) |

 In
honor of Bill and Marcy Dykstra's 50th Wedding Anniversary,
our Building God's Vision fund has received a generous contri-
bution from Brad, Gayl, Amanda, Jacqueline and Julia Kessel.
