BUYING BOND$ HELPS You - and Your Church
Investing in Tawas Area Presbyterian Church Bonds provide advantages to the buyer and the Church. The buyer benefits by getting a very favorable rate for their money, six percent per year. The Church benefits by paying a lesser interest rate than the bank loan, 7.39 percent. These ten year notes yield 6 percent interest, paid annually, and after ten years you will receive the initial investment back. The bonds are priced in $1,000 increments and you can buy a bond at any multiple of $1,000 you wish. The bonds are available now.

The more bonds that members buy the less we have to borrow from the bank. Please consider what funds you may have available and invest in your church.

For an Offering Circular and more information please contact Walter Fales at 989-876-6612 or Al Gould at 989-362-1479.

What's new in the TAPC Library? . . . . . A LOT!!!!
The wonderful new addition to the Church allowed us to expand the Library. We've been able to add:
  • An additional bookcase for children's books.
  • A computer/printer/scanner with a Windows 98 operating system for word processing. We will be adding additional software in the future.
  • Sunday Worship Service audio tapes are now available for your use in the Library. A card is under each tape. Please follow the directions for easy self check-out and check-in - so others can enjoy it, too.
  • A new file cabinet for Sunday Worksheets, insert handouts (like those used in the Disciple Series), Rick's Bible Study, etc. All of these will be available for your use.
  • A new book stand will allow us to display some of our nice, large books. Thank you to Phil MacLeod for building this for us.
The Library Committee appreciates all the hard work of Ann Jensen and the Facilities Committee in planning for and moving the Library to its new home.
