| We
are always in need of food for area families and food may be
placed in the deacon's box located in front of the entrance
to the parlor. We are especially short of cereal and boxed or
canned dinners. Other items always needed are tuna, soup, peanut
butter, jelly, pancake mix, syrup, pasta, pasta sauce, boxed
potatoes, canned vegetables, and fruit. Gift cards to area groceries
are also very much appreciated for perishable items. Any food
donations are greatly appreciated. New members are always welcome
at our Mission Committee meeting. We will be discussing plans
for our holiday baskets at our |

We
are having trouble finding people to provide cookies for Sunday
mornings; there is a sign-up sheet in the Servery. We could
also use help Sunday mornings to make coffee, lemonade, and
put out cookies, and of course, clean up after.
And, the
basket on the table is not just for decoration! This is the
money we use to buy our supplies, they don't come free and
our operating budget is frozen like all of the committees.
