SUGGESTIONS TO NOMINATING COMMITTEE
The Nominating committee invites you to participate in the nominating process by carefully considering the qualifications for office and then suggesting names of persons who could serve. Please use the following form for this purpose. Fold/secure or place in an envelope addressed to the nominating committee and send it to the church or place this in the offering plate. Thank you.
Your 2007 Nominating committee (Elder representatives: Jack Loch and Walter Fales Deacon representative: Kate Cornack Congregational representatives: Tom Hall and Dean Adams) thanks you for your suggestions.
General Qualifications for the office of Elder/Deacon
  • An active member of Tawas Area Presbyterian Church
  • A strong Christian commitment to Christ and the church.
  • A manner of life that is a demonstration of the Gospel.
  • A desire to serve by giving of their time, talent and treasure.
  • A person of good judgement, cooperativeness, and open to new ideas.
  • Ability to follow through on assignments.
  • Willing to serve for 3 year commitment and to participate at church functions.
