BUILDING SECURITY
The security of our Church facility has always been a vital concern. This concern is heightened by the following:
1) Our location and accessability from both US 23 and Aulerich Dr.
2) The January 2007 break-in
3) The completion of Phase I of "Building God's Vision"
This concern has led to the following changes:
1) In January 2007, the addition of an alarm system to the church offices, and
2) With the completion of the new addition, a complete revision to our door lock system.

BUILDING ENTRANCE DOORS

One thing remains unchanged; any member family, who so desires, may have a key to the Church! However, it will be a new key and fit only 1 door - the church office hallway. This allows access to all areas of the original building, except to the office itself. Please come in to the church office during office hours (9-3/M-F) to obtain your key.

Keys to other parts of the Church facility, including the Pavilion, will be issued to committee members who have an on-going need for usage. Keys for all locations on an "as-needed" basis will be available thru the Church office during regular hours (9-3/M-F).

CHURCH OFFICE DOOR

The Church Office door lock system remains unchanged. However, since January 2007, the office is on the alarm system. Keys to the Church Office were issued to several members prior to January 2007. In doing so, minimal records are available as to who has a key! Because of this, and the addition of the alarm system, we are asking for your help.

1) If you have a Church Office Key, please notify the Church Office.
2) Since the Church Office is on the alarm system, you must know the alarm code before you use your key!
3) If you need access to the Church Office - other than during normal office hours - please obtain the code from Lee Parker, Facilities Chairperson.
4) If you no longer need access to the Church Office outside of normal office hours - please turn in your key to the office.

We are aware that change can be difficult, but the security of our Church is VITAL! Thank you for your consideration and cooperation in this important matter.

- Lee Parker, Facilities Chairperson
