the September Meeting: |
Reluctantly accepted the "retirement" of Clerk,
Merv Darnall, after nearly 5 years of service. "Thank
you, Merv!".
- Elected
Elder Jim Murton to fill the remainder of Merv's
term.
- Thanked
Bea Martin for her gift of beautiful new paraments.
- Invited
the Flint Male Chorus to perform on Saturday, May
31, 2008.
- Established
a sub-committee (of Outreach) to suggest "better
space utilization" of our expanded facility. Members
will include: Shirley MacLeod, Ed Davis, Carol Ellis
and Bea Martin.
- Approved
the recommended Servery set-up for potlucks and Fellowship
Hour.
- Established
a new Fee Schedule for use of the Church's expanded
facility.
- Moved
the November Session Meeting to Nov. 14th, to avoid
any conflict with the Thanksgiving holiday.

October, November December issue of THESE DAYS, Daily
Devotions for Living by Faith has arrived in the office.
The last issue focused on ‘HOPE." This issue focuses
on ‘JOY.' What better way to prepare for the advent of
Christ's birth than by claiming time for spiritual growth through
daily devotions? If you would like to reserve a copy of this

God, you never fail to give us each day
all that we ever need, and even more.
Give us such joy in living and such peace in serving Christ
