WALK FOR HUNGER
The annual
Sunrise Side Cropwalk to help alleviate hunger and poverty
is set for Sunday, October 14. You are invited to join other
members of the Stride With Pride team who will be covering
the 3.1 mile route or to pledge your financial support to
members of our congregation who will be asking for sponsors.
They are: Jan Chambers, Andy Clairmont, Ed Davis, Jeanne Hebner,
Nan Scales or Pastor Rick. For more information, see either
Ed or Jeannie.

| Coats
for Kids |
 Once
again it's time to collect coats and other "cold weather"
gear for the needy in our county. Our church is one of the many
drop off locations. You will see 2 BIG BOXES in the Foyer to
hold our donations. As you go through your closets - coats,
ski pants, hats, mittens, gloves or scarves, for any size
person is acceptable, (from kids to adults) - just bring them
to church & drop them off. (Hopefully they will be clean
and ready to wear.) Monday, Nov. 5th is the deadline. They will
be distributed by members of the Kiwanis Club, Nov. 7-10, to
the needy throughout the area. Last year about 600 coats were
