Donated
items for the Thanksgiving Food Baskets
need to be in the Deacon's food box in the foyer no later
than Sunday, Nov. 22. (See list on the Deacon's Board in the
Servery.)

| Angel
Food Ministries,
which offers affordable food for everyone, is managed by Christ
Episcopal Church in East Tawas, and Hope St. John's Parish in
Oscoda. The signature box of food costs $30 @ month. Each month's
menu is different, but includes both fresh and frozen items.
10 Senior convenience meals (3 oz. of protein, a starch + 2
vegetables or fruit), at a cost of $28, (nutritionally balanced
- just heat and serve) are also available, as well as an Allergen-free
Food box for $25. Each month's selections are worth at least
twice what they cost. Angel Food Ministries is also available

| The
Session has approved a one-week MISSION TRIP
to Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota next summer (dates
to be decided by those participating). We will be working with
the Oglala Lakota Nation, building bunk beds and repairing homes
across the Reservation, helping to rebuild relationships, homes,
and lives. (More information will be forthcoming in future newsletters.)
Cost is $350 + travel costs to and from Michigan. For more information

The Tawas
Clergy Association sponsored the annual Coats
for Kids' collection. Our church was one of
the many drop off locations Thank you to all who donated coats,
mittens, gloves, scarfs, for our local kids. They are being
distributed this month.
