WALKERS SAY THANK YOU!
The 2007
Sunrise Side Crop Walk against hunger and poverty was another
outstanding success and the "Stride With Pride"
team says, "Thank you!" Our congregation contributed
$731, and the TAPC group of walkers was the largest of any
church. Proceeds will go to two local agencies in Iosco County
- St. Vincent De Paul and F.I.S.H., as well as to those in
southeast Asia who are still recovering from the 2005 Tsunami.
Thank you for supporting this important ecumenical program,
sponsored by Church World Service. Special thanks to Ed Davis
and Jeannie Hebner for organizing the TAPC walkers: Jan Chambers,
Andy Clairmont, Ed, Jeannie, Nan Scales and Pastor Rick.
