| The
Mission Committee will once again be collecting "Health
Fair Kits" during the month of May, to be distributed
during Health Fairs, conducted by the Lake Huron Presbytery.
TAPC members donated 71 kits in 2010 and we hope to meet or
exceed that number in 2011. Plastic bags with a list of needed
items will be available beginning Sunday, May 1 and need
to be returned by Sunday, May 29. Your help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Items
needed for the Deacon's box are cereal, peanut butter,
jam or jelly, tuna fish or canned meat; canned fruits, vegetables,
beans, pancake mix and syrup. Paper products and toiletries
are very helpful to families during these tough economic times.
Any of these items can be placed in the Deacon's box and will
be most appreciated.
We
are planning our 2nd ANNUAL SALAD LUNCHEON on Thursday, July14.
Thanks to the generosity of TAPC members, $722 was raised
for mission projects last year. Please consider donating salads
and desserts for this fundraiser. Volunteers will also be
needed to help at the luncheon.

take a few minutes to notice the Book Sale cart....When you
find a book to your liking, make a donation. It will be used
to improve the children's library.
The Library
committee welcomes new members: Audrey Nelson and Youth Librarian
Jasmine Thomas. Jasmine will help with the new Young Adult
shelf in the parlor library.
