The
Annual CHURCH SPRING CLEAN-UP is scheduled for May 17,
9:00 a.m. - ? A little elbow grease is all that is needed
for some inside and outside cleaning. It's a fun time with
a free lunch!
The
ANNUAL YARD SALE has always been a good fund-raiser in
the past. We have a few new ideas for this year:
1) no clothes 2) no shoes 3) no pricing
(items would not be individually priced, but the value would
be determined by voluntary contribution), and
4) posters would be displayed, stating where the monies would
be going (for example: Christian Education, Grounds Maintenance,
F.I.S.H., etc.).
Of course,
congregational participation would still be necessary to help
with sorting, displaying, cashiering, and floating sales people.
That is our proposal, now we need to hear from you - both
pro and con.

THIS
IS MY CHURCH
It is composed of people just like me. It will be friendly,
if I am.
It will do great work, if I work.
It will make a generous gift to many causes, if I am generous.
It will bring others into fellowship, if I bring them.
It's seats will be filled, if I fill them.
It will be a church of loyalty and love, of faith and service,
if I, who make it what it is, am filled with these.
Therefore, with God's help, I dedicate myself
to the task of being all these things I want my church to be. |
