HELP
IS REALLY NEEDED IN THE NURSERY
|
 |
| Due
to the fact that we have lost some of our volunteers, the few
that are remaining are doing double duty. If you can "share
some love" with our nursery-aged children on a Sunday morning
once-in-a-while, please contact Mary Hall @ 362-1274. Thank
you! |

| Huron
Shores Spring Concert - a Toe-Tapping Variety |
| A
musical treat to the ears and soul was again provided by the
Huron Shores Chorus with their spring concert on Sunday May
2nd - featuring a variety of classics, jazz, and pop tunes that
ended with a standing ovation for the choir under the new direction
of Tracee Behnke-Lentz, who was handed the baton from Patty
Vogeley (after directing for the last 4 years) Melanie Bowie
magnificently accompanied the chorus and talented Tina Donze
led the Jazz quartet during the interlude. The women of the
chorus won over many in the audience with a medley from the
pop group ABBA' and the men really got down' with
Nothin' Gonna Stumble my Feet'. As you can see in the
photo a number of our own choir members were singing - Andre
and Betty DeWilde, Susan Davis, Vida Minard, Jim Murton, and
Patty Vogeley. Thanks to all for sharing their musical gifts. |
