| The next
meeting of the Mission Committee is Wednesday, June 11 at 5:00
p.m. Our current project is the collection of Health Kits
for migrant workers and needy inner city children. These are
distributed at health clinics, sponsored by the Presbytery of
Lake Huron. Leftover kits are donated to women's and men's shelters.
All Health Kits need to be returned to the church by Sunday,
June 1. |
| In addition
to the ongoing ministry of providing aid (in various forms)
to our foster families, we often have requests for help in emergency
situations. Please remember that non-perishable food and
paper products are ALWAYS NEEDED. Thanks to all who give
so generously to others. |
| We plan
to update you regularly on mission activities and projects in
future issues of The Connection. |
