Worship
& Music - is looking at ways to cut back on the number
of choir practices (to reduce the number of trips members have
to make to the church, in order to save on fuel). The Flint
Male Chorus will be here on May 31st.
Christian Education - We will have a float in this year's
July 4th parade, with the theme, "Let Freedom Ring."
Deacons - 2 Coins A Meal receipts: Mar. $63.50, Apr.
$83. A new Deacon's bulletin board will be purchased for the
Servery.
Mission - A new 2007 Mission Brochure has been printed.
It answers the questions, "Where do our Mission dollars
go?" and "What Missions do we support?"
Fellowship - 2 new coffee urns are being purchased.
Stewardship/Finance - A new internet service is being
installed this month. Year-to-date Revenue, $53,711; Year-to-date
Expenses, $57, 776. This is a $4,000 shortfall. We are making
a $7,048 monthly mortgage payment for Building God's Vision,
and we are only taking in $5,000. Please make sure your giving
is up-to-date. Please remember TAPC when you receive your economic
stimulus check.
Facilities - The annual Spring Clean-Up is Saturday,
May 17th. |
