35 Youth and Adults from First Presbyterian Church in Bay City led us in worship on Sunday, May 16 with the story of Job, in the musical by Dennis and Nan Allen, called "Riches to Rags". They arrived Saturday morning and stayed overnight preparing for this presentation.

Special THANKS to Cathy Short, their youth leader, and all the other adults that helped direct them for another inspiring and energetic worship experience for everyone.
The Facilities Committee wants to THANK ALL THOSE WHO CAME TO HELP with the Annual Spring Work Day on May 22. Many hands scrubbed, dusted and cleaned inside and out. Of special note - MANY THANKS to Jim and Vida Minard for the GREAT lunch!

Love and marriage - June - the month of love and roses and happy beginnings. A happy time that sometimes goes wrong. But this is another story. As I look around our congregation I see and know many couples who have successfully been married for many years, 50 more or less. I am one of those and I should know the answer to long marriages. I don't. But I do know that a strong faith and spiritual life go a long way toward happiness in marriage. The couples who worship together seem to have a wonderful relationship with God as their partner. God made man and woman and wanted them to become as one. A happy and long marriage is the result of a commitment to God and each other. What a blessing!
