YOU can help with VBS this year!
We are in need of 25-30 clean, clear 2-liter soda pop bottles WITH their caps.
A box is in the Sunday School Room for you to put your bottles in.
We also could use ficus trees for the decor. If you have one we could borrow,
please call Newana @ 747-0345 or Margaret @ 739-8322.

Worship CommitteLITURGICAL COLORS

There are often questions regarding the colors of the paraments (Communion Table, Pulpit and Shroud).

WHITE stands for purity and the festivals of Christ.
PURPLE is for royalty, repentance and suffering.
RED represents the Pentecostal fire of the Holy Spirit, the blood of Christ, and blood of the Martyrs.
GREEN is used for days which have no special season and signifies growth.
GOLD can be used in place of green.

At the close of Maundy Thursday, during Holy Week, the church is bare, using no paraments until Easter Sunday.
