 July!
Ahhh, fireworks, picnics, beach parties, family reunions,
a celebration of summer! Warm days, sunshine, swimming
holes, vacations and seeing your neighbors after a long
winter indoors. We take time to enjoy life, and experience
what God has given us through nature. This is good; but
what about the rest of the year? Shouldn't we have fireworks
and celebrations and family gatherings for God to praise
him for all he has given us all year long? What a statement
of faith that would be if Christians everywhere set aside
one day a month to throw a big party of thanks to God
so all could see how much we love God. So, send up the
balloons, heat up the grill, invite all around you and
shout your praise to the heavens. Or if you are not comfortable
throwing a big party, do it in your heart so it is a quiet
party between you and God. He is listening to each voice
and sending his love to each and every one of us. |
