THURSDAY - JULY 14 6:00 P.M.

The congregational monthly pot-luck dinner begins at 6:00 p.m.
Bring a dish to pass, your own table setting, and a friend.

6:45 p.m. July Potluck Program: Learn About the Landmarks! The 183-acre Tawas Point State Park has been described as "the Cape Cod of the Midwest" and "a bird watchers' paradise." The Tawas Point Lighthouse, in operation since 1876 and now part of the Park, includes a tower with a Fresnel lens, one of only eight still operative in Michigan, and was remodeled with the assistance of the Friends of Tawas Point State Park. Here's an opportunity to learn about these local landmarks! Chuck and Peggy Allen, long time managers of the park and the lighthouse, will share their knowledge of "the Point," and explain how the park and lighthouse have evolved over the years to become a magnet for tourists and residents alike.

Summer Golfing is on par At ‘Singing Bridge' Golf Course every Friday at 9::00 a.m. just south of Tawas on US-23. All guys and gals welcome! It's just an informal round and you can go as long as you want. Thanks to Dale Wenzel and the Browns we get a special $rate. You can't beat it!
