| INCLEMENT
WEATHER POLICY |
| Unless
we experience unusually severe snow and/or icing, we will not
cancel our Sunday Worship service or Sunday School, or other
church events during the week. If you have leadership responsibilities,
you are NOT expected to attend if there is inclement or dangerous
weather. We do not want anyone risking their personal safety
in dangerous weather conditions...... so, if you are wary of
venturing out, please stay safe and warm at home.
We will
do our best to send out an email, change our message on the
answering machine and notify the local media as quickly as
we can, if we decide to cancel anything. If a committee/group
meeting is scheduled, please call the leader of that group
to verify that the meeting is being held, before you venture
out. If you cannot reach the group leader, please call the
Church office at 362-2371, or check your local television
news cancellation lists for updates.

A THOUGHT
(FROM THE PERSON IN THE NEXT PEW) |

2012!
Wow another year passed and a new one is starting and we have
a clean slate to plan what to do with it. The holidays are
over, the decorations are packed away, the cookies and candy
are almost gone and no more Christmas carols on the radio.
The spirit of Christmas was wonderful and we remembered all
the beautiful stories of that night of Christ's birth. So
let us carry that spirit forth into the new year and see what
happens in the life of our church. Tawas Area Presbyterian
Church has been blessed from the day we dug the first shovel
of dirt to the present, and this year was especially good
to us. So what are we to give back? Prayers, service to God,
care for each other and those in the community who need us,
spreading the word of the gospel and having faith that we
will continue to be blessed. Always remember that God is with
us and that he loves us as his own. Be worthy of that love
and share it!
