Dear
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Grace
and peace to all our friends in ministry across town.
We
have recently been richly blessed by a gracious gift
from one of our dearly departed members and his wife,
Jack and Marian McCrady. We are now in the process of
dispersing that gift in ways that others may also be
blessed in ministry.
We
therefore want to honor the Rev. Ken Tousley in a special
way. He was the Interim pastor for our church between
our two pastors, Jan Chambers and Rick Vogeley. He served
our congregation for over 18 months, and we came to
know and love him as he led us through that transition
time.
We
even made him an honorary "METH-BYTERIAN",
and he has a ball cap to prove it. As far as we know
he is the only live ‘Meth-byterian' still in captivity!
Therefore
please accept the accompanying check for $10,000.00
in Ken's name. We know that you will put it to good
use in whatever manner you and Ken agree upon.
May
we all work together to further the love and peace of
Christ in the Tawas area.
