OF DEACONS: "It is the duty of Deacons, first of
all, to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the
friendless, and to any who may be in distress, both within and
beyond the community of faith." (Book of Order)
At their
January meeting, the Board of Deacons elected Jan Doak as
Vice-Moderator, Jeanne Hebner as Secy/Treas and Susan Davis
remains as Moderator.
The
Board of Deacons next meeting will be Thursday, March 8, 5:00
