 Souper
Bowl Sunday - Feb. 5th - Help Stop Hunger!
The Souper Bowl of Caring is the largest youth-led day
of caring in the U.S. Last year 15,835 congregations, schools
and organizations raised nearly $9,600,000 for charitable food
banks and soup kitchens. The Souper Bowl is underwritten by
10 teams in the NFL and other entities, and the groups that
participate are asked only to report their totals so that a
national figure can be calculated. T.A.P.C.'s youth, in conjunction
with the Mission Committee is designating the money collected
to go to F.I.S.H. our local ecumenical caring/food pantry. |
