 The
‘Annual Report' is the January Newsletter
Attention
all committee chairs, staff, and various groups in the church
- the church office needs your ‘Year End Report'
by December 10th. The Year End Report is sent out as the
January newsletter. The only reports that cannot be sent out
in this ‘newsletter/annual report' will be the
year end financial reports and 2010 Budget - which will be
available at the Annual Congregational Meeting on Sunday,
January 24th following worship. A succinct form is available
for all "reporters" this year. Please use it. THANK
YOU!

 The
Christmas Joy Offering
A Presbyterian
tradition for almost seventy years, the Christmas Joy Offering
is one of the four special offerings designated by the General
Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) To provide congregations
direct ways of supporting specific causes that help those
in need.
The receipts
from the Offering are distributed equally to the Board of
Pensions for assistance programs and to National Ministries
of the General Assembly Council to support Presbyterian racial
education.

 The
Deacons are inviting you to go Caroling SUNDAY, DECEMBER
13
at 4:00 p.m. to our Shut-Ins. We meet at the church and
then leave in car pools. As always, the weather will dictate
whether we carol outside to our shut-ins, or inside at local
care facilities and residences. (Bring a flashlight to see the
words, in case we are outside.) We will return to the Vogeley's
home at 1267 East Lincoln for sandwiches and warm (or cold)
beverages. |
