| Every
year we enter the parade we've won a 1st place prize in various
categories. Congratulations to designer and artist, Margaret
Derthick; construction foreman and tractor driver, Tom Hall;
donators of the trailer, tractor and construction site - Dale
and Lue Verran; construction grunts - Mary Hall and Rick Vogeley;
and the Revolutionary War Fife and Drum Trio - Mike Crain, Ken
Douglas and Joel Pestrue. The float depicts the famous painting
- ‘The Spirit of 76' by Archibald Willard.

in Tawas Area Presbyterian Church Bonds provides advantages
to the buyer and the Church. The buyer benefits by getting a
very favorable rate for their money, (6% per year). The Church
benefits by paying a lesser interest rate than the bank loan,
(7.39%). These ten-year notes yield 6% interest, paid annually,
and after ten years you receive the initial investment back.
The bonds are priced in $1,000 increments and you can buy a
bond for any multiple of $1,000 you wish. Bonds are available
for members to purchase now. Please consider what funds you
