The
Outreach booth at the Oscoda Art Fair in June gave out
close to 750 drinks of cold water. The cups wore the Bible
Verse "Jesus said, ‘I am the bread of life; he who
comes to me shall never hunger, and he who believes in me
shall never thirst." One young man said he still had
the verse in his bedroom from his cup last year. The Chamber
of Commerce thanked us for our presence there.
Church
Ministries Displays will be Sunday, September 14
in the Parlor. This is a time where you can learn what the
various ministries of our church are involved in. There will
also be sign-up sheets for areas that need more volunteers.
Sweatshirts
with a church logo will be available soon. Beginning Sunday,
September 7, you will be able to try-on different sizes
and place your order. Look for the display in the Parlor.
