Worship
& Music - Presbytery will be meeting at our church
on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. The Rev. Roy Peterson will be
in our pulpit again on August 31st.
Christian
Education - Our Fourth of July float was awarded 1st Place
in the Service Organization category. The August 21 all-church
potluck picnic will honor all new members since last year.
Fellowship
- The Men's breakfast group has decided to move from Barnacle
Bills to Patti's Kountry Kitchen (next to the Citgo station
in front of the church).
Stewardship/Finance
- Sunday, October 12 will be the Pony Express kickoff.
Operating Fund YTD - Income $84,324 / Expenses $85,019 (Net
-$ 675)
BGV Fund YTD - Income $27,913 / Expenses $42,702 (Net -$14,789)
Facilities
- Yard Sale will be Saturday, August 30th. A number of
small repairs will be completed before the August 5 meeting
of the Presbytery.
Memorial
- A solar fountain has been donated. Expenses for this
year's plants and mulch are $1,505.56.
