On
Saturday August 27th we will be showing an out door movie
at dusk complete with popcorn on our site of the old Drive-in
theater.
On
Sunday August 28th, we invite all members, former members,
and friends to worship at 10:00 A.M. Ken, Jan and Rick will
all be participating in this exciting worship.
We will honor the people who put in so many hours building
this church. Plan to attend the catered luncheon after worship.
Thanks to all those who have submitted pictures and stories.
Remember, it's not too late to send in more. This weekend
will be a wonderful way to share the excitement of Who We
Are and Where We Come From, Where We Want to Go and most importantly
how God brought us together as the Tawas Area Presbyterian
Church.
If you would like to help defray the cost of our catered
lunch in honor or memory of someone who was instrumental in
the history of this church, please send a check with a note
for whom you are honoring or in memory of. These will be printed
on an insert in the bulletin for August 28th. (Example: In
honor of Ann Coates for our Bazaars' at the community center.)
