    With fall and winter just around the corner, we can look forward to some new events happening at TAPC to get us through the oncoming seasons. And  there’s nothing more comforting than a fellowship brunch combined with a casual discussion of the Scriptures.

June brings VBS and "Paul and the Underground Church", and promises to be an inter-generational experience you won't want to miss.

Helping 2 Overcome Presentation

 TAPC will present “Helping 2 Overcome: 10 Ways to Help Kids Overcome Obstacles,” a presentation that will be of great interest to our community.

    Helping 2 Overcome (H2O) is a local non-profit organization dedicated to assisting area youth in removing the barriers preventing them from reaching their full potential. 

    Jill Gould, the President of H2O, explains the purpose behind the group. “H2O’s goal is to enrich the lives of every participant. We focus on character development, understanding emotions, healthy risk-taking, building trust and leadership development.”

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Aids Hurricane Harvey Victims

    The disaster is not over. Hurricane Harvey is gone, but the destruction left in its path remains. The toll on human life is devastating. But there are ways you can help.

    Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) has been in touch with the presbyteries in the path of Hurricane Harvey to offer assistance. They are standing by with resources and National Response Team members ready to deploy upon invitation and when it is safe to do so.

    September has always been my biggest season of renewal. Even though the leaves will soon turn, summer harvest will be preserved, warm clothes will be stored, new experiences await. Each new school year provided opportunity to start fresh, meet new people, form new friendships, heighten my creative spirit and reconnect with my learning and faith communities.
