Helping 2 Overcome Presentation

TAPC will present “Helping 2 Overcome: 10 Ways to Help Kids Overcome Obstacles,” a presentation that will be of great interest to our community.

“Two Coins A Meal” Hunger Ministry

“Two Coins A Meal” is a small step in the battle against hunger and poverty. We invite our members to contribute a few coins at every meal. This simple act is an expression of thanksgiving for what we have received. When the members bring their offering to church on the appointed Sunday, all of those coins “make a joyful noise unto the Lord” as they are received and dedicated.

Philippines Missionaries Cathy Chang and Juan Lopez

From their home base in Manila, Philippines, Cathy Chang and Juan Lopez will help global partners address issues of migration and human trafficking.  The UN’s International Labor Organization estimates 21 million people are victims of coerced labor and/or forced sexual exploitation.  While human trafficking is a worldwide problem, countries in Asia are increasingly vulnerable. Cathy and Juan will work with Asian churches and non-governmental organizations to help coordinate efforts related to the scourge of modern-day slavery.
