TAPC Serves Up "Scrambled Eggz!"

Our May 18th Pot-Luck offered good food and music! Local youth musical group “Scrambled Eggz” performed a 45-minute concert for a delighted audience.

We began the evening with a pot luck assortment of delicious food (meats, veggies, desserts, but curiously, no scrambled eggs) and a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and chat. After dinner, we retired to the sanctuary, where Scrambled Eggz was set up and ready to go.

The group is made up of a dozen Tawas Area High School band students. TAPC’s own Gregory Jacot formed the band. Scrambled Eggz primarily travels to nursing homes around town to entertain the residents with their music, but when they were asked to provide some of their musical fun to TAPC, they were glad to say yes.

The group also includes TAPC member Brady Jacot, whose percussion skills have contributed to our Sunday worship many times. We also got a couple of piano solos from the very talented Doug Ferguson, who gave a shout-out to his piano teacher Judy Douglas, seated in the audience.

We thank the young musicians of Scrambled Eggz (Greg, Bryce, Michelle, Brady, Stewart, Hannah, and Doug). They range in age from seniors to freshmen, and all have one thing in common: their love of music.

for sharing their talents with us!
